Many of my readers have occasion to sign employment contracts. They are either the employer or employee. I often hear that it is easier and cheaper to simply copy a contract from the internet than use a health care attorney. Actually, it might wind up being considerably more expensive. Contract law is state specific. Often, what is legal or not, is situation specific. Do not trust your future with an internet template. It is simply foolish. Never use a contract with illegal clauses or words that can be interpreted to mean something you do not want. It is penny wise and dollar foolish.
Yours,
